Two arrested over stolen property found at Ingle Farm, SA

Eastern District Police have arrested two people after a significant amount of stolen property was recovered at Ingle Farm on Thursday, according to SA Police.

Police attended an Ingle Farm home just before 8pm on Thursday 27 September as part of an investigation into stolen property being sold on-line.

Officers conducted a search of the property, locating a number of stolen items including power tools, solar panels, car fridges and a mountain bike.

Police also located a John Deere ride-on mower stolen earlier that morning from Highbury, and another trailer stolen from Tranmere on 24 September.

Some of the stolen property dates back to reports of theft made to police in 2009.

The stolen property is estimated to be worth at least $150,000.

About 9.30pm on Friday 29 September, police attended a Para Hills address and arrested a man and woman in connection with the stolen property. Officers also located a trailer that was stolen with the ride-on mower on Thursday.

A 38-year-old woman from Ingle Farm and a 48-year-old man from Moana were charged with numerous counts of theft. They have both been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
