Two arrests made in Ōtara homicide investigation

As stated by Acting Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers, Counties Manukau CIB:

Counties Manukau Police have made two arrests as part of its investigation into the murder of Faaifo 'Joe' Siaosi.

The investigation team as part of Operation Rye have undertaken a large number of enquiries since 17 May.

Acting Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers says two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident in Ōtara.

A 21-year-old has been charged with murder, while a second 21-year-old has been charged with a firearms offence.
