Two arrests over cannabis crop at Elizabeth Downs, SA

An Elizabeth Downs couple will face court after police found a cannabis crop growing in their home yesterday, according to SA Police.

Just before 11am on 15 August, Northern District police searched a house in Johnston Road at Elizabeth Downs allegedly locating 18 cannabis plants growing hydroponically and evidence of drug trafficking.

A 28-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man both from the address, were arrested and charged with manufacturing, cultivating and trafficking a controlled drug.

They were both bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
