Two men have been charged following reports of a firearm being spotted and an allegedly stolen vehicle crashing into three parked cars in Wantirna South yesterday.
It is alleged a firearm was pointed from a stolen white Holden Astra towards a driver on the Burwood Highway about 3.40pm.
The Astra was seen allegedly swerving from lane to lane and pulling into a nearby shopping centre carpark on Stud Road.
Knox police arrived swiftly after receiving the report.
The allegedly stolen Holden crashed into three stationary vehicles in the carpark.
It is alleged the two male occupants dumped the Holden and fled on foot.
Officers quickly moved in, arrested two men and seized an imitation firearm.
No one was injured.
A 28-year-old Cranbourne man was charged with theft of motor vehicle.
He was remanded to appear before Ringwood Magistrates' Court today (4 December).
A 35-year-old Rockbank man was charged with possess imitation firearm.
He was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 25 February, 2026.
