Two Charged With 30+ Drug Offences at Lake Illawarra

Two people have been charged with more than 30 drug offences, following an ongoing drug investigation in the Illawarra.

In October 2025, Strike Force Alamillio was established to investigate the supply of prohibited drugs in the Lake Illawarra.

About 10.15am yesterday ( Thursday 20 November 2025), officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District stopped a vehicle on Church Street, Albion Park.

A 34-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station.

Police seized 8.6 grams of cocaine, 6.4 grams of psilocybin, drug packaging and $4,650 in cash

The 29-year-old woman was charged with 27 offences including 19 counts of supply prohibited drug and five counts of supply prohibited drug on an ongoing basis.

She was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court 3 today (Friday 21 November 2025).

The 34-year-old man was charged with take part supply prohibited drug less than or equal to small quantity, supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to a small quantity, two counts of participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime less than or equal to $5000, supply prohibited drug greater than small & less than or equal to indictable quantity and supply prohibited drug greater than indictable and less than commercial quantity.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday 10 December 2025.
