Two charged with robbery in company in Gosford

Two men will face court in May charged in relation to a robbery last weekend (22 April 2017), NSW Police say.

About 3.30am (22 April 2017), a man was waiting for a taxi in Mann Street Gosford when he was approached by a group of three men.

A conversation took place before the three men allegedly assaulted the man. The group took the man’s wallet, watch, shoes and belt.

The group approached a second man who was seated on the platform at Gosford Railway Station. A conversation took place before the group allegedly assaulted the second man. The group took the man’s phone, wallet and shoes.

yesterday one man attended Gosford Police Station where he was charged with two counts of Robbery in company. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on 30 May 2017.

The second man attended Penrith Police Station where he was charged with two counts of robbery in company. He was granted conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on 16 May 2017.

Enquiries are continuing to locate the third man.
