Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a male and a female in Mallacoota this afternoon.
Officers have been told the pair, who are yet to be formally identified, were pulled from the water at Bastion Point about 3.25pm.
Paramedics attended, but sadly, the pair died at the scene.
