Two injured in truck crash at Carrickalinga, South Australia

Two men have been taken to hospital after their truck crashed into a house at Carrickalinga this morning.

Just after 10.30am on Tuesday 19 May, a truck travelling on Carrickalinga Road careered out of control crashing into a two-story house.

The driver and passenger in the truck were trapped for nearly an hour, after debris from the house collapsed on top of the truck's cabin. CFS crews assisting other services at the scene to free the injured men.

Fortunately nobody was in the house at the time of the crash, with the house completely destroyed in the incident.

The two men from the truck are being conveyed to the Flinders Medical Centre with non life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the circumstances surround the collision.
