Two Men Charged for Damaged Light Installations in Darling Harbour

Two men have been charged after lighting installations were allegedly damaged in Darling Harbour last weekend.

About 3.15am on Sunday 11 June 2023, three unknown males were walking along Tumbalong Boulevard in Darling Harbour where they allegedly damaged lighting installations.

The males then fled the scene.

Officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, two men – both aged 19, attended Castle Hill Police Station about 7.30pm on Wednesday 14 June 2023.

Detectives attached to Sydney City Police Area Command charged both men with destroy or damage property more than $15,000.

They were given conditional bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday 5 July 2023.
