Two men injured after stabbing - Ingleburn

An investigation is underway following a stabbing in Sydney's south-west tonight.

About 8.20pm (Tuesday 21 May 2019), emergency services were called to a unit on Sitella Place, Ingleburn, following reports of an assault.

Police have been told two men became involved in an altercation, where one man suffered stab wounds to his face and neck, and a second man sustained a near severed finger.

The pair were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard, both in a stable condition.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command have established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

It is believed the men are known to each other.
