Two men injured in DV-related assault - Kellyville

A man is under police guard in hospital after an alleged domestic-violence related assault at Kellyville this morning.

Officers from The Hills Police Area Command were called to Oakwood Place shortly after 2.30am (Tuesday 22 August 2023), responding to reports a man had broken into a home.

They found a 41-year-old man suffering serious lacerations to his forearms, and a 39-year-old man suffering cuts to his hands.

The men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital, both in a stable condition.

The older man is under police guard.

A 35-year-old woman and three children were at the home at the time; they are shaken but unharmed.

A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing.
