Two men injured in shooting - Merrylands

Police are investigating after two men were injured, one critically, in a shooting in Sydney's west last night.

About 9.30pm (Thursday 30 April 2020), emergency services were called to Badham Street, Merrylands, following reports of a shooting.

Police have been told two men, both aged 24, were sitting in a parked car on the street when shots were fired into the vehicle.

One man suffered gunshot wounds to his chest and was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The other man suffered gunshot wounds to his arm and was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
