Two people charged following controlled operation, NSW

Operation Toby was commenced in March 2016 targeting drug the supply of prohibited drugs, NSW Police say.

As a result, police today, arrested a 39-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man about 8.30am on Grandis parade, Tuncurry.

They were both taken to Forster Police Station where they were charged commercial supply of prohibited drug and indictable supply of prohibited drug (x4).

Both charges relate to the distribution of methyl amphetamine with an estimated potential street value of $184 000.

They have both been refused bail and will next appear in Newcastle Local Court on Thursday 4 August 2016.
