A police investigation is underway after two people were burnt at a home in Kewarra Beach this afternoon, Queensland Police say.
Around 2.50pm, police were advised that a man and a woman had received serious burns from a gas bottle at a home on Miara Close.
The pair are both being treated for significant burns.
A crime scene has been declared.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Branch are attending and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
