Two teenagers arrested over fire at Stirling

Two teenagers have been arrested following a fire a Stirling this afternoon.

Just after 2pm on Sunday 15 October emergency services responded to reports of smoke coming from a supermarket on Mount Barker Road Stirling.

CFS together with MFS battled the blaze for several hours which is now under control.

The store has been completely destroyed by fire.

Multiple businesses have also sustained significant damage in the blaze.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Following investigations two 14-year-old boys from the Adelaide Hills were arrested and will be charged with arson.

They will be granted police bail and will appear the Mount Barker Youth Court at a later date.

Fire Cause Investigators will attend the scene tomorrow once it is safe to examine the scene.

Mount Barker Road has now reopened with speed restrictions in place overnight.
