Two Vehicle Crash at West Kentish Road at Sheffield, TAS

Devonport Police are investigating a serious two vehicle crash between a campervan and a motorcycle, which occurred approximately 4:21 pm on Sunday the 2nd of December 2018 on West Kentish Road at Sheffield, Tasmania Police say.

Initial investigations indicate that both vehicles were travelling south on West Kentish Road, when the campervan has indicated to turn right into an address. The motorcyclist has begun to overtake the campervan, who at the same time has begun turning right. The motorcyclist has collided with the camper van which caused him to fall from his motorcycle.

Tasmanian Ambulance, Tasmania Police and SES responded to the crash.

The motorcyclist is in a serious condition and was airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment.
