Two youths charged over Launceston CBD offences

Two youths have been charged in relation to a number of offences committed in Launceston CBD.

The 14 and 15-year-old girls were charged yesterday with more than 24 offences between them, including stealing and common assault.

They were bailed with strict conditions to appear in the Youth Justice Division of the Launceston Magistrates Court at a later date.

Tasmania Police is continuing to conduct high visibility patrols in Launceston CBD, with an aim to reduce offending and anti-social behaviour.
