Jeannie Helsel will lead fundraising efforts at UC Clermont College as the director of development beginning Jan. 3.
Helsel, an Australian native who has lived in Clermont County for more than 24 years, brings over a decade of nonprofit experience to the college. Most recently, Helsel worked for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati and CASA for Clermont Kids, where she demonstrated success in relationship building, establishing corporate support, donor acquisition, fundraising and event planning.
"We are excited to have Jeannie join UC Clermont," said Dean Jeff Bauer. "Her fundraising experience and dedication to our community will be a valuable asset to the college and our students."
Helsel graduated with a bachelor's degree from National University in San Diego and a master's degree in non-profit administration from North Park University. As the new director of development at UC Clermont, Helsel said she is looking forward to learning more about fundraising initiatives and helping donors make a positive impact in the areas that matter most to them.
"I am thrilled to support students through raising money for scholarships and other college priorities," Helsel said. "I plan to continue the great work started before me to make UC Clermont the first choice for students who seek quality undergraduate degree opportunities that are accessible and affordable."
