Ulverstone Mum Hits Set for Life Jackpot on Good Friday

An Ulverstone mum has confessed she's still in shock after striking a Set for Life division one win on Good Friday.

The Tasmanian held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3893 on Friday 3 April 2026. She can look forward to $4.8 million paid in monthly instalments of $20,000 for the next 20 years.

The stunned mum shared she could barely process the news when we called on Easter Sunday to confirm the prize.

"Oh my god… thank you!" she exclaimed.

"Holy s***. I honestly don't know what to say.

"When the phone rang just now, I thought, 'I betcha this going to be about bloody solar panels'. I'm glad it's not! This is so amazing!

"I haven't looked at my emails over the weekend until just before. I saw I had an email from The Lott but hadn't got around to opening it, so I had no idea I'd won. I can't believe it!

"I've been playing Set for Life for about three or four years. I've always played the same numbers - they're mainly family birthdays.

"It's been a tough few years, so this is just life-changing for me and my family.

"I'd love to a change of career, maybe even go part-time and have more time to enjoy life with my family.

"Thank you so much for the phone call!

"What a great Easter surprise!"

The woman's winning marked 4-game entry was purchased via The Lott app - the official home of Australia's lotteries.
