Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Ambassador Bonnie D. Jenkins will travel to New Orleans, Louisiana, January 22-23. While in New Orleans, the Under Secretary will meet with students and faculty at the New Orleans Military and Maritime Academy and at Xavier University of Louisiana, a Historically Black College and University. The Under Secretary will speak about the the importance of investing in next generation leadership and the need for diversity in STEM, foreign policy, and international security. The Under Secretary will also visit the U.S. Marine Corps Forces, South to discuss continued partnership in advancing U.S. foreign policy goals.
