Members of the community, as well as students and staff at the University of Warwick, can now enjoy exclusive discounts across global lifestyle, nutrition, sportswear, and fitness brands following an innovative new partnership between the University and global technology company Endurance Zone.
As part of the partnership, the University launched a new rewards platform in September, offering discounts across brands such as Adidas, Uber, Deliveroo, Nike, Garmin, Fitbit, and more. Integrated within the UoW Sport mobile app, the platform incentivises healthier and more active lifestyles through three reward levels (bronze, silver, and gold), allowing users to unlock additional rewards as they participate in physical activity at Warwick.
The University of Warwick is the first Higher Education institution in the UK to partner with Endurance Zone, reflecting both organisations' commitment to innovation and helping students combine being active with managing the cost of living.
Mark Hyndman, Director of Sports and Active Lifestyle at Warwick, said: "We have over 12,000 members from across the student, staff, and public communities engaging with active wellness and sport at Warwick. Programmes such as Rock Up & Play have attracted over 3,800 students and staff to enjoy free sport over the past year. As we aim to maximise engagement in active lifestyles and improve health and community belonging, it's crucial to provide a rounded experience that rewards positive behaviour.
"Our collaboration with Endurance Zone strengthens the digital experience for our users and provides tangible rewards for getting active. We're proud to be innovating in this way in Higher Education and look forward to growing the platform as a core part of our Active Wellness and Sport Strategy."
