Two teenage boys have been charged after they allegedly crashed a stolen car in Vincent today.
It will be alleged at around 12.15am last night, a Toyota RAV4 was stolen from a Rockhampton residence.
Around 10.30am Townsville police received a number of calls in relation to the manner of driving of a red Rav4.
At 11.57am police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device at Vincent and the Rav4 then collided with a Suzuki Swift at the intersection of Charles and Anne Street.
Two males fled from the vehicle and police located them in Wotton Street a short time later.
A 17-year-old Konngal boy and a 16-year-old Vincent boy have both been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and unlawfully enter yard. They will appear in the Townsville Childrens Court tomorrow, 28 May.
The female driver of the Suzuki was not physically injured in the crash.
Investigations are ongoing.
