Police have charged three youths following a traffic crash involving a stolen vehicle in Townsville yesterday, 10 November.
Around 12.50pm, police received reports of an alleged stolen Holden Commodore travelling south bound on Riverway Drive at Rasmussen.
The stolen vehicle then collided into the rear of another vehicle and allegedly fled the scene driving erratically.
Initial investigations indicate the sedan was stolen from an address at Hervey Range Road, Thuringowa Central, a short time before the crash.
Following investigations, police arrested three youths around 3pm.
A 13-year-old Kelso boy has been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and driving without a driver licence.
A 12-year-old Kelso girl have been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle.
They are expected to appear before the Townsville Childrens Court on 14 November.
A 13-year-old Heatley boy has been charged with unlawful use of motor vehicle and two counts of breach bail.
He is expected to appear before the Townsville Childrens Court on 11 November.
