Unlawful wounding charges in Moorooka, QLD

Police have charged two men after a man allegedly was stabbed at a residence in Moorooka Sunday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged at 1.45pm two men were visiting a Ipswich Road unit when an argument has occurred, and a 31-year-old man was punched and stabbed with a small knife to the left side of the chest.

Police located two men nearby a short time later.

The victim was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, both from Moorooka, have been charged with unlawful wounding and attempted robbery with violence. The 25-year-old man has also been charged with going armed so as to cause fear. Both will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court today, October 29.
