Upcoming Community Satisfaction Survey

Kempsey Shire Council

If you receive an unexpected phone call asking about Kempsey Shire Council, don't be alarmed. You may have been selected to take part in our community satisfaction survey, held every 2 years.

From 19 to 31 October 2026, Council's independent research partner, Micromex Research and Consulting, will conduct a phone survey with a representative sample of residents across the Kempsey Shire.

The survey will provide a snapshot of community perceptions of Council's services, priorities, and performance as we progress through the current Council term and four-year Delivery Program. The feedback will support performance reporting, benchmarking, and the monitoring of community satisfaction trends over time.

Participation is voluntary and all responses are anonymous. The survey may include questions about age, gender and household arrangements to ensure the results reflect a broad cross-section of the community. The research is conducted in accordance with the Privacy Act, and any information provided will be used for research purposes only. Findings will be reported at a community level and no individual responses will be identified.

The survey will not ask for any financial, banking or credit card information.

Council encourages residents who receive a call from Micromex to take part and share their views.
