A third man has now been charged over the alleged serious assault of a man following an incident on the M1 at Yatala on Saturday night, Queensland Police say.
It follows the charging of two men last night in relation to the same incident.
A 28-year-old Upper Coomera man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm and is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
A 29-year-old man remains in a critical condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital following the alleged assault.
Detectives continue to ask for anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet contacted them or has dash cam footage taken in the vicinity of the M1 between Pimpama and Yatala from around 9:30pm to the time of the incident to get in touch.
