UPDATE #7 - Top End Monsoon

SCHOOL CLOSURES FOR WEDNESDAY 31 JANUARY
The monsoon continues to affect the north-west Top End of the Northern Territory. Several schools will be closed tomorrow.

Daly River Regio, Northern Territory Police sayn

Adelaide River School and Woolaning School will be closed on Wednesday 31 January 2018 due to road closures and current weather conditions.

The following schools will be closed until further notice due to road closures and current weather conditions:

  • Nganambala School
  • Nganmarriyanga School
  • Peppimenarti School
  • Woolianna School

The Department of Education and the Catholic Education Office will each coordinate education service delivery to all students evacuated from the Daly River community to Darwin.

Katherine Region

Kiana School and Lajamanu School will be closed on Wednesday 31 January 2018 due to road closures and current weather conditions
