Update - Aquamoves deep clean completed following positive COVID-19 case

Greater Shepparton City Council advises a deep clean of Aquamoves has been completed, following a staff member testing positive to COVID-19 during the week.

Based on advice received by GV Health, Council can confirm those in attendance at Aquamoves on the identified dates, Tuesday 4 and Wednesday 5 August, are not considered at risk, as the staff member attended the centre outside of their 'infectious period'.

The staff member remains in good health, and is in self-isolation.

Following the deep clean, the centre has now been reopened to staff, contractors and maintenance.

Council thanks those for sentiments of support in managing this situation.

Despite needing to remain closed to the public during Stage 3 restrictions, Aquamoves is continuing to deliver online content for its members and the wider community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aquamoves is now working on broadening this content to appeal to a wider demographic to assist our community in staying well and healthy during Stage 3 restrictions.
