Update: Attempted Murder Charges Elevated to Murder in Mount Mee

Two people who were charged over the alleged serious assault of a 23-year-old man at Mount Mee earlier this week have had their charges upgraded to murder following his death in hospital.

The 23-year-old Eagle Farm man was initially transported to Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a critical condition but has since passed away from his injuries.

A 21-year-old woman and 23-year-old man, both from Mount Mee, have had their charges upgraded from attempted murder to murder.

The 21-year-old woman remains remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on May 7.

The 23-year-old man remains remanded in custody and is due to reappear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on July 4.
