The City of Stonnington acknowledges the strong community interest in the future delivery of its animal management services.
At its meeting on 12 May 2025, Council will consider a recommendation to defer consideration of the animal management services tender until the following meeting to be held on Monday, 26 May 2025.
This additional time is necessary to provide the Council with supplementary information addressing the various questions and issues raised on this matter, and to consider the information.
Council thanks the community for its ongoing care and advocacy for animal welfare and remains committed to ensuring any decision made reflects a transparent, lawful and considered process.
