Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture

The Territory Wildlife Park, Alice Springs Desert Park and parts of the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens will be closed from 5pm Wednesday 1 April 2020.

The Alice Springs Desert Park and Territory Wildlife Park will be closed to the public.

The Visitor and Event Centre, gift shop and playground at the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens will be closed. In the interests of supporting the mental health and wellbeing of the community, visitors will still be able to go to the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens to walk providing they adhere to social distancing measures.
