A second man has been charged over the alleged sexual assault of a woman at Wollongong earlier this month, NSW Police say.
Officers from Wollongong Police District have now charged a 21-year-old man in relation to an alleged incident involving a 19-year-old woman at a home unit in Wollongong about 1.30am on Sunday 9 December 2018.
The man was arrested at a Shell Cove home about 7.40am today (Monday 17 December 2018), and taken to Wollongong Police Station.
He has been charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault in company and granted conditional bail to appear in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday 12 February 2019.
A 27-year-old man was charged by investigators last week and remains before the courts.
