WorkCover Queensland has completed its annual update of the Allied Health Services Table of Costs for the 2025-2026 financial year. The updated fees are effective from 1 August 2025.
Existing fees have been indexed and are now available on our Fees page (under Current allied health fees > Effective 1 August 2025).
Thank you to our key stakeholders whose feedback has helped to inform this year's review.
Changes include:
- All supplementary services have been removed from the individual Allied Health discipline tables and published within the Allied Health Services Table of Costs document. This allows the Allied Health discipline tables to focus on treatment services only.
- The Communications and Case Conferencing codes now require the insurer to be involved in these communications for billing to be allowed.
- The following pre-approved consultation changes have been made across all allied health discipline tables:
- pre-approved consultations from six (6) to five (5) across all tables other than mental health services and exercise physiology
- exercise physiology pre-approved consultations reduced from six (6) to one (1) (i.e. initial consultation)
- mental health services remain unchanged at six (6) pre-approved consultation hours.
- The maximum consultation length has changed for subsequent consultations for exercise physiology and physiotherapy codes (300187 and 100402 respectively).
- The inclusion of a Psychological Treatment Progress Report type within the Mental Health Services Table of Costs and removal of Progress and Standard report types for the Psychology discipline.
These tables reflect the maximum fees payable. Please update your systems to reflect the new fees for services delivered from 1 August 2025, as invoices may not be adjusted once payment is made.
