Upgrades Begin At Howley Park, Drummoyne

Council has commenced a range of upgrades at Howley Park, Drummoyne, to improve accessibility, enhance foreshore access, and beautify the park.

"I am pleased to announce that works have begun on the upgrade of Howley Park," said City of Canada Bay Mayor Michael Megna.

"With beautiful views across the Parramatta River, Howley Park is one of our most picturesque foreshore parks.

"We're looking forward to making the park more accessible and welcoming for the community, with a revitalised lookout area, pedestrian ramp, terraced seating, beach stairs, landscaping, and more."

Other upgrades include the construction of ten new 90-degree angled car spaces, including an accessible car space.

The project will bring to life several of the upgrades set out in the Howley Park Masterplan, as identified by park users following two rounds of community consultation.

The project is due for completion mid-year and is proudly funded by the NSW Government in partnership with the City of Canada Bay.
