Emergency roadworks commence today, Wednesday 03rd March 2021, to repair a sink hole which has appeared on the roadway at Keoughs Culvert, Gleniffer Road, just prior to the intersection of Gordonville and Timboon Roads (heading towards Gleniffer Hall).
Due to overnight weather developments, it is now necessary to temporarily close the affected section of Gleniffer Road and consequently, Gleniffer Road is closed between the southern intersection of Gleniffer Road and Roses Road (645 Gleniffer Road) and the northern intersection of Gleniffer Road and Gordonville / Timboon Roads.
Motorists are kindly requested to observe onsite signage and traffic control arrangements and recommends that road users allow extra time for their journeys due to the need to detour around the roadworks site via either Hydes Creek Road or Summervilles Road.
Council will advise of any changes to current traffic management arrangements shortly and thanks you in advance for your cooperation and patience during these emergency works.
