USAID Chief Power Convenes with Foreign Aid Modernization Network

Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with the steering committee members of the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network (MFAN). The Administrator highlighted progress on the reform efforts underway to strengthen USAID's workforce and to drive progress beyond the impact of the Agency's programs. Administrator Power reiterated USAID's commitment to advance locally led development. She also highlighted organizational reform initiatives that will strengthen monitoring and evaluation and incorporate increased use of cost-effectiveness evidence into programming decisions, including the establishment of the Office of the Chief Economist, the Office of Policy, and Bureau for Planning, Learning and Resource Management.
