Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that Verner Street, between Deccan Street and Coromandel Street in Goulburn, will be closed on 25 November 2025 to allow for the installation of pedestrian blisters.

Pedestrian blisters are raised traffic refuges designed to provide a safer space for pedestrians before crossing the road. They act as a protective buffer from traffic and offer improved visibility, allowing pedestrians to assess oncoming vehicles more clearly before stepping onto the crossing.

There will be detour signs and traffic management in place, access will be maintained for local residents.

Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.
