Vic's back

Vic the dog is back and police continue to investigate after a car crashed into a house in Bentleigh early this morning.

A white Audi was travelling along Tucker Road when it crossed onto the wrong side of the road, crashed through a fence and into a home about 2am.

The male driver managed to free himself from the wreckage and fled the scene on foot.

When the sleeping family came downstairs to investigate what had happened, they found a car covered in bricks in their loungeroom but their 1-year-old dog Vic missing.

Vic was located about 11am and reunited with his owners.
