Victoria Police Probes Thomastown Shooting, Brunswick Car Blazes

Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating after shots were fired at a property in Thomastown and two cars were set alight in Brunswick early this morning (Friday, 24 May).

It is understood a number of shots were fired in the direction of a 32-year-old man as he left his Larch Street address in Thomastown around 3.15am.

He was not physically injured during the incident.

Emergency services were also called to Barrow Street in Brunswick around 3am, after reports two vehicles had been set alight.

Police believe both incidents were targeted and the investigation remains ongoing.
