MCA Victoria has opened nominations for the 2022 Victorian Women in Resources Awards.
It is calling for exceptional women and gender diversity champions across the Victorian minerals industry to nominate for the awards across six categories:
• Exceptional Woman in Resources
• Exceptional Young Woman in Resources
• Gender Diversity Champion
• Outstanding Victorian Trade, Operator or Technician
• Technological Innovation Award
• Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance Award.
The Women in Resources Awards recognise and promote diversity across Victoria's minerals industry by celebrating Victorians who championing diversity.
Victoria's resources industry extends from minerals operations in regional Victoria, the mining equipment to technology and service companies in regional and metropolitan areas to the corporate offices of major global mining companies.
Winners in each category are elevated to finalists in the Women in Resources National Awards.
