Victorian man extradited over firearm and fraud offences, NSW

A man has been extradited from Victoria to New South Wales accused of fraud and firearm offences, NSW Police say.

Detectives attached to Strike Force Tercel have been investigating the theft of property, including several firearms, in Corowa on 24 March 2018.

On Wednesday 4 April 2018, police applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for a man living in Yarrawonga.

Today, (Thursday 5 April 2018), police arrested a 24-year-old man.

He was extradited back to New South Wales and taken to Albury Police Station. He was charged with supply firearm, fraud and act with intent to influence witness.

He is due to appear in Albury Local Court today (Thursday 5 April 2018).
