Victorian Men's And Women's Domestic Fixtures Revealed

The countdown to summer is officially on with Cricket Australia today unveiling the 2025/26 domestic cricket fixtures for both men's and women's domestic competitions.

Following a season of significant and exciting growth, Victoria's men's and women's squads are poised to take another step forward as they embark on a packed summer campaign.

Victoria will open their Dean Jones Trophy campaign with three away games against Queensland (September 17), Tasmania (September 19) and South Australia (October 9), before welcoming NSW to the CitiPower Centre on October 20.

Chris Rogers' squad will be looking to go one further this season, after finishing runners-up in the inaugural Dean Jones Trophy against South Australia at the Adelaide Oval in 2024/25.

Victoria's Sheffield Shield campaign will begin on October 4 against reigning champions, South Australia. In a season highlight, the MCG will host two Shield matches including a pre-Christmas clash against Western Australia from December 4-7, before facing the Queensland Bulls from February 5-8.

Meanwhile, Victoria's women's squad will look to get off to a strong start in their 2025/26 WNCL campaign, beginning their season with four consecutive home matches, with a pair of clashes against NSW (September 26 and 28) and Tasmania (October 8 and 10).

Cricket Victoria's General Manager of Cricket Performance, Graham Manou, said the fixture unveiling presents a strong platform for both squads to build upon the progress of recent seasons.

"We're excited by the schedule ahead - both our men's and women's squads have put in the work over the off-season and are driven to represent our great state with immense purpose and pride," Manou said.

"There are some big matches at home early in the season and we're really looking forward to welcoming fans back to both the CitiPower Centre and the MCG to support our teams.

"It's a great time to be a Victorian cricket fan. Both squads boast world-class players and some of the country's most exciting young talent in Harry Dixon, Oliver Peake, Fergus O'Neill, Ella Hayward, Tess Flintoff and Milly Illingworth, just to name a few. The future is bright and there's a lot to look forward to this season."
