Viikki campus researchers have been very successful in the Academy of Finland's winter competition in the fields of biosciences, health and environmental research.
28 projects by Viikki researchers have received funding from the Research Council of Finland's Scientific Council for Biosciences, Health and the Environment. The projects will be funded for a period of four years, starting on 1.9.2025. The amount of funding granted varies between 279 957 and 599 962 euros.
Nine researchers working on the Viikki campus have been granted four-year Academy Research Fellowships and one person received Clinical Researcher funding. The funding for the fellows ranges from 670 104 to 889 785 euros and the Clinical researcher's funding is 290 779 euros. They will take up their duties on 1 September 2025.
