The Joint Standing Committee on Migration will hear further evidence on review processes associated with visa cancellations made on criminal grounds in Canberra on Wednesday. Witnesses will be the Attorney General’s Department and the Police Federation of Australia.

The Committee Chair, Mr Jason Wood MP said that he is looking forward to hearing more from the Police Federation of Australia, which represents more than 62,000 police officers across Australia.

"The police are at the front line of crime in Australia and their views should be taken into account", Mr Wood said.
