Vodafone health and safety update, 9 March, 2020

Vodafone's North Sydney headquarters and stores at Joondalup, Forrest Chase and Hillarys in Perth have reopened after two staff members were given the all clear following testing for coronavirus.

All test results have been received and are negative.

As a precaution, North Sydney-based employees were advised to work from home from Wednesday 4 March after a staff member who had recently returned from overseas, developed flu-like symptoms, and following medical advice was tested for coronavirus.

Negative test results for the North Sydney employee were received on Friday 6 March, and employees returned to the office on Monday 9 March.

Similarly, employees at three of our retail stores in Perth were advised to stay home as a precaution on Thursday 5 March after one of their colleagues became unwell, and on medical advice was tested for coronavirus.

The stores at Joondalup, Forrest Chase and Hillarys have been professionally cleaned and reopened on Friday 6 March, initially staffed by non-affected employees from other stores.

Negative test results for the Perth retail employee were received on Sunday 8 March, and the employee's colleagues returned to work from Monday 9 March.

The health of our employees and the public is our number one priority and we took this action out of an abundance of caution.
