Voice Referendum 2023

The Voice referendum will be held on Saturday 14 October, 2023.

The Voice referendum is about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.

The City of Whittlesea respects community members' individual beliefs, and values.

Voting in the Voice referendum is compulsory for all eligible Australian citizens aged 18 years and over.
