Volunteers to walk in Moomba Parade

Volunteers and their families are invited to participate in this year's Moomba Parade on Monday 9 March in Melbourne's CBD.

Volunteers to walk in Moomba Parade

The parade is held each year as part of Melbourne's much-loved Moomba Festival, a four-day community event run by the City of Melbourne over the March long weekend.

The parade features dance troupes, community groups as well as the larger-than-life floats. More than 80,000 people attend the parade each year.

Volunteers can walk as individuals, with other members of their brigade or alongside their families.

The walking route is approximately one kilometre, starting at the Shrine of Remembrance in Birdwood Avenue and finishing at Linlithgow Ave.
