Property managers play an important role in keeping tenancies running smoothly – quietly solving problems before they become larger issues.
This Friday, 25 July is National Property Managers Day, a day to recognise the people behind thousands of rental properties across WA.
From managing leases and routine inspections to urgent repairs and difficult conversations, property managers help tenants and owners navigate the rental process with ease.
The day began in 2020 as an initiative of REINSW and is now supported by Real Estate Institutes across the country.
REIWA President Suzanne Brown said property managers were often the quiet problem solvers behind the scenes.
"Property managers are there when the hot water system breaks, when paperwork gets tricky and when things don't go to plan," she said.
"On National Property Managers Day, we recognise the work they do to support both tenants and owners.
"Good property managers make it look easy, but there's often a lot going on behind the scenes. If you rent your home or work with a property manager, today's a good day to say thank you."
