WA Defense Firms Invited to Join INDOPAC 2025

  • State Government funds free exhibition opportunity for WA defence businesses
  • Expressions of interest to attend Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition (INDOPAC) 2025 now open
  • INDOPAC is the largest defence exposition in the Southern Hemisphere

The Western Australian Government is calling on local small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the defence industry to join Team WA at the Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition 2025 (INDOPAC 2025).

INDOPAC 2025 is the region's largest maritime and naval defence event, attracting global leaders across defence, industry, government and academia.

This year the maritime exposition will be held at Sydney's International Convention Centre from 4-6 November and showcase the latest technology including AI, which is transforming undersea warfare.

The last INDOPAC was held in 2023 and attracted more than 27,000 attendees with more than 170 official delegations from 52 countries.

This included a Team WA delegation made up of 44 co-exhibitors and rovers, WA's largest ever defence industry trade delegation.

Building on this achievement, the WA Government will support up to 50 local defence SMEs to join Team WA as co-exhibitors or rovers for INDOPAC 2025.

Attending businesses will have the opportunity to build networks with national and international defence stakeholders, promote their industry capabilities to key decision-makers and gain access to leading industry insights.

WA SMEs are invited to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to join Team WA at INDOPAC 2025. EOIs close on 13 June.

As stated by Defence Industries Minister Paul Papalia:

"Western's Australia's defence industry will be on full display at INDOPAC 2025, showcasing our State's world-class capabilities, knowledge and experience.

"In 2023, 44 companies attended INDOPAC as part of WA's largest ever defence industry delegation.

"This year, we will be providing even more opportunities for our local defence SMEs and I encourage any companies interested in attending to submit an EOI."
