Allan Hopkins, 44, was wanted for alleged serious sexual offending involving a child under the age of 18 years in South Australia.
He was also wanted for offending in numerous different states.
South Australia Police are aware that he was located interstate and is currently in custody.
South Australia Police would like to thank all the other states authorities for their assistance in bringing this matter to a conclusion.
